AGBABIAKA Lukman Adegoke (Ph.D., Ffs, MNSAP)

Born on 22nd October,1967. He attended First Baptist Day School, Ijaye, Abeokuta from 1973-1979. He obtained the West African School Certificate (WASC) from Lisabi Grammar School, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta in 1985. Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State - Bachelor of Agricultural Technology (Hons.) in Fisheries and Wildlife, July 1991. Federal University of Technology, Owerri - Master of Science in Animal Nutrition (Monogastric), 1999. Imo State University, Owerri, terminal degree (Doctor of Philosophy) in Animal Nutrition - Aquaculture bias and graduated with Distinction, 2012.
Dr. Agbabiaka started as a pupil/ trainee in Fisheries and Aquaculture at Nigerian Institute for Freshwater Fisheries Research (then Kainji Lake Research Institute) and Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research (NIOMR) at New Bussa and Victoria Island Lagos respectively for Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) in 1990 where he was exposed to the rudiments of this noble Profession (Fisheries & Aquaculture). As a graduate, young Agbabiaka Adegoke worked as a pupil Consultant with Cidi- Valex Agro Services Limited ,Owerri 1991-1992. He was appointed as Lecturer II at Michael Okpara College of Agriculture , Umuagwo- Ohaji, Imo State ( now Imo State Polytechnic) in 1994 where he rose to the rank of a Senior Lecturer and Head of Fisheries Department in the year 2003. Dr. Agbabiaka was appointed a Principal Lecturer/ Associate Chief Lecturer in 2011 and currently a Chief Lecturer at Department of Fisheries Technology, Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri . He is a visiting Lecturer at Post-graduate School, Chukwuemeka Odumegu Ojukwu University, Uli, Anambra State.
