Dr Ebinimi Ansa is a Research Scientist and Director at the African Regional Aquaculture Centre (ARAC), a Department of the Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research (NIOMR) with over twenty-five years’ experience in fisheries biology and aquaculture management. Dr Ansa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Port Harcourt in 1989 and a Master of Science degree with Distinction at the University of Lagos in 1992. She returned to the University of Port Harcourt where she bagged a Doctorate degree in Fisheries Biology and Hydrobiology in 2006.

Dr Ebinimi Ansa was elected FISON National President 2022.
